Strawberries
Chocolate-dipped strawberries are the ultimate, decadent treat.
Here is an easy to make recipe that will be sure to brighten anybody's day!
Prep Time: 10 minutes Total Time: 10 minutes Average Cost: $
Ingredients:
Preparation:
1. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or waxed paper.
2. Wash and dry the strawberries.
3. Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave until it is melted, stirring after every 30 seconds. Overheated chocolate gets thick and hard to work with, so it's important to keep an eye on the chocolate. Remove it when some pieces are still not melted, and stir until they melt.
4. Holding a strawberry by the stem, dip it in chocolate, twirling it in a circular motion to evenly cover most of the berry. (Helpful Hint: As you lift it from the chocolate, twirl it so that any excess chocolate drips back into the bowl.)
5. Place the berry on the prepared baking sheet and repeat with remaining berries and chocolate.
6. Once all of the berries are dipped, refrigerate them for 30 minutes to set the chocolate. **
*Substitute bananas or other types of fruit if you don't like strawberries
**You can decorate the finished berries with candy or different colored chocolate to your liking!
*Microsoft Word Quicktip: Double Click and Drag
If you're like most people, when you want to move a section of text from one place to another, you use Control-C to copy and Control-V to paste. That's fine. It works. But there's a faster way: Double click or highlight what you want to move, then simply drag what you've highlighted to where you want it to land.
